Removing the power steering pump
We remove the power steering pump to replace it or when disassembling the engine.
Remove the accessory drive belt (see Checking and replacing the accessory drive belt).
We pump out the liquid from the power steering reservoir with a pear.
The power steering pump is located in the engine compartment on the right side, between the engine and the bulkhead.
I press the latch...
..disconnect the wire blocks from the working fluid pressure sensor.
We tighten the legs of the cable holder with pliers ...
..and remove the bracket from the shoe mount.
With a “24” head, we unscrew the threaded connection that holds the tip of the discharge line tube ...
. and pull it out along with the copper gasket.
We remove the tip of the tube from the pump and take out another copper washer.
The washers must be replaced with new ones when they are reinstalled.
With a “12” head, we unscrew the two bolts securing the bracket for the pressure sensor unit and the flange of the filler pipe.
Two bolts for mounting the pressure sensor block bracket and the fill line tube flange (note that the bolts are shown in the photo with a mirror).
We raise the support as far as the length of the sensor cable allows ...
. and, squeezing the protrusions of the sensor wire block bracket with pliers, remove the bracket.
Remove the flange of the pump filler tube.
Using a 14 key, unscrew the upper bolt securing the pump to the top of the cylinder head.
We remove the tip of the “mass” wire from the bolt.
With the same wrench, unscrew the lower pump mounting bolt ...
. and remove the pump from the engine compartment.
If the filler flange rubber O-ring is damaged or has lost elasticity, pry it off with a screwdriver and replace it with a new one.
By pressing the latch on the wire block ...
..disconnect it from the working fluid pressure sensor.
Using a 19 key, unscrew the pressure sensor ...
. and remove it from the pump.
We take out the piston with the spring from the hole for the sensor.
Install the power steering pump in reverse order.
Install the accessory drive belt (see Checking and replacing the accessory drive belt).
Pour the working fluid into the power steering reservoir and bleed air from the system (see Bleeding the power steering).

1. Remove the accessory drive belt (see here).
2. Loosen the clamp securing the supply hose to the power steering pump by squeezing the bent lugs with pliers.
3. Put the clamp on the hose.
4 and disconnect the supply hose from the pump fitting.
5. Drain the fluid from the hydraulic booster reservoir into a previously prepared container.
6. Tighten the power steering fluid pressure sensor harness clamp.
7 and disconnect the pads.
8. Remove the harness bracket from the bracket on the power steering pump housing.
9. Unscrew the pressure pipe fitting and remove the screw together with the sealing washer.
10. Disconnect the pressure line from the pump with the sealing washer below. In this case, a small amount of working fluid may leak from the pump nozzle.
11. Remove the sealing washer,
Take measures to prevent leakage of the working fluid from the pipeline by blocking it, for example, with a wooden plug.
12. Using a syringe, pump out the remaining working fluid from the power steering pump.
13 Remove the two pump mounting bolts from the motor mount (the second bolt is under the pump pulley).
fourteen and remove the pump from the engine mount.
15. Wring out a clamp of the block of a braid of wires and disconnect the block of the gauge of pressure of working liquid of system of the hydraulic booster of a steering.
16. Unscrew the two bolts of the hydraulic booster support circuit pipeline.
17 and pick up the handset.
18. Pry off the sealing ring with a screwdriver and remove the ring from the power steering pump.
19. Unscrew the gauge of pressure of working liquid of system of the hydraulic booster of a flywheel.
20. Plug the openings in the piping and pressure sensor to prevent dirt from entering the pump.
21. Having fixed the pump in any way possible, unscrew the valve from the discharge pipe.
22. While holding the pump pulley from turning with the mounting sheet, unscrew the pulley fastening nut and remove the power steering pump pulley.
