Kia Unveils New 2022 Stinger Scorpion

The 2022 Kia Stinger is more powerful, efficient and stylish. It will be available for the US market this spring.

The Kia Stinger went on sale in 2018 and since then, the vehicle has been very well received by customers. 

Thanks to the good results, the manufacturer continues with this model and has just launched the 2022 Kia Stinger. The redesigned vehicle remains the brand's sports sedan, but now with more style, performance and engineering.

The 2022 Kia Stinger features new exterior details, improved performance with a more powerful standard engine and several technologically advanced driver assistance systems as standard.

The new model will be available this spring in GT-Line, GT1 and GT2 versions, as well as a special version of the Scorpion model.

The manufacturer says in a statement that the 2022 Stinger has features such as:

– Standard LED headlights with new DRL signature or daytime running lights and optional Stinger-signature LED headlights.

– Standard rear LED taillights are complemented by a striking new taillight design that spans the full width of the tailgate; The GT package is fully LED with LED turn signals.

– 18" and 19" wheels with subtle technical geometries

Interior lighting

— Added details in gloss black and chrome to the dashboard.

– The nappa leather GT models have a new “chain link” design inspired by luxury watch straps.

– Ambient LED interior lighting with a bright choice of colors

The Scorpion Special Edition will be released in late spring and will contain more details such as:

– Choose body colors: Snow White, Aurora Black y ceramic silver

– Rear spoiler

– Dark color details 

– Interior with carbon fiber details

The 2022 Stinger GT-Line is equipped with a 4-cylinder engine. turbine 2.5-liter that is capable of producing 300 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque. This engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters and is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds.

The 2022 twin-turbo GT is powered by a V6 engine. turbine 3.3-liter that is capable of producing 368 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque. This engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters and is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds.
