Laverda 1000

The Italian factory Laverda from Breganza (Vicenza) became famous in the world when it began to produce the largest motorcycles. They started with the 650, which was soon followed by a series of 750cc brothers, GT, SF and SFC. All of these bikes are more or less copies of the HOND 72 and 77, which the Japanese discontinued in 1968. The engines are two-cylinder, air-cooled, with a camshaft in the head, and the frame is bolted so that they are both part of the frame. The gearbox and clutch enter the housing together with the crankshaft. These bikes, especially the SFC model, are very well known and prized in 750cc racing. Cm.
