During a rainstorm, many drivers slow down due to poor visibility, but remember that even after the rain has stopped, wet road surfaces can still be dangerous. Promotes hydroplaning. This is the loss of contact between the tire and the road when driving on wet roads due to the formation of a water film between the tire and the road surface. This phenomenon occurs when the wheel spins very quickly and does not keep up with the removal of water from under the tire.
