Moto Guzzi v9 Roamer

Due to the history of aviation and the beginning of the company, the eagle is the sign of Moto Guzzi on the fuel tank. This one always looks towards the trip and makes sure that the roots of the company are not forgotten. There in Mandella, a village on Lake Como, stands a factory that looks like a socialist factory, with workers in blue overalls and toothpicks in their teeth as they return to the assembly line with their hands in their pockets after lunch. On the knees surrounding, almost hilly. They are replaced with Fiat engines or cultivators with an air-cooled two-cylinder Guzzi engine. He is eternal and indestructible. Open at a 90 degree angle. He has been this way since eternity, and he himself is eternal. The landscape hidden under Switzerland is harsh, stingy and ruthless, people are similar in character to Austrians or Germans. Yes, so the comparison with the Bavarians and their two-wheeled BMW icon is imposed. It is similar in technical design, except that the Bavarians are betting on the boxing type of unit. Apparently, however, the two-cylinder engine has a homeland right in Central Europe.

Family V9: The Tramp and the Bobber

The latest in a series of models with which Guzzi evokes nostalgia and enters the fashion retro motorcycle scene is the V9 model. This one comes in Roadstar and Bobber versions. The Roadster is a clean bike for anyone looking for bikes that resemble 7s two-wheelers. But this does not mean that they are outdated and motionless. Opposite! The technique is a continuation of what we saw in the V750 II model, with a slightly larger unit size (from 853 to 4 cubic centimeters), some electronic aids (ABS, rear wheel slip control) and mechanical improvements (new gearbox, clutch, piston and rod). The Moto Guzzi, which fans remember mostly from the legendary Le Mans model, still shifts to the right when the throttle is pressed, and the modern EuroXNUMX emission standard extracts a muffled sound from a pair of exhaust pipes instead of a loud bass that can be boosted.

Guzzi needs to warm up, because this is a "fairy tale" for grandparents who believe in traditions, simplicity and spontaneity! The Bobber is lightly painted with a thickened front tire, and the Roadster is full of chrome with a 19-inch front wheel, both of which are comfortable to use.

In the nostalgic rhythm of a two-cylinder

Riding a roadster evokes a primal driving experience where the pleasure is to fully stomp the throttle without the bike running over and throwing you out of the saddle. A pinch of added electronics does not harm him and does not take away the charisma of tradition and charm. It just solidifies. It's enhanced by a white-backed chrome stand and a red needle with a base dial or divinely stitched, old-school perforated seat. To some, it may seem bulky and tough, it may not look like an American Harley-Davidson, but only to those who have not yet sat on it and have not tried what a real ride with a real guzzi is. And the Roadster is a real Moto Guzzi of the 21st century! Even for those generations of motorcyclists who have not yet been able to get to know him.
