Nissan Leaf II Software Update - Post-Charge Test [VIDEO}

Youtuber Lemon-Tea Leaf ran a quick charge test on a Nissan Leaf after updating the software to a version that should fix the Rapidgate issue. It turned out that: the new software version does not cut the charging as much as before.

The test consisted of charging the car on the Chademo fast charger, driving 49 kilometers fast to warm up the battery, and then reconnecting to the fast charger. During the ride, the battery warmed up from 25,6 to 38,1 degrees. According to Björn Nyland's calculations last year, this should bring the charging power down to around 28-29 kW.

However, when connected to the charging station, the machine started a 40 kW process (top image). This is less than the first charge time, but much faster than before the firmware update. It is not known how it will be in the warmer seasons and at higher battery temperatures, but it looks like this so far. the problem with Rapidgate is actually solved.

However, this is done by the way, ASO does not carry out any special service actions related to the newer version of the software.
