Review: Honda NSC50R Sporty

Let's just say that this is not an exact racing replica with locksmith aluminum screws, and you will not find radial brakes or fully adjustable suspension on it. Simply because this scooter doesn't need it as it rides at a legal 49 km/h. Well, the look is definitely “pulling”, a scooter dressed in the colors of the first team is part of the success story in MotoGP, but we believe that it's Honda thanks to a young Marco Marquez who quickly became a teen idol. excites the imagination of many children.

The Sporty 50 is powered by a modern four-stroke single-cylinder engine that develops 3,5 horsepower and 3,5 Nm of torque. We love that Honda doesn't skimp on modern grips or stick old patterns in the insides, but takes these best things off the shelf. Besides electric starting, excellent fuel injection also ensures smooth operation. In any case, the scooter is not malnourished and copes well with descents, but unfortunately it only drives that sad 49 km / h.

But these are the rules. We had a joke with him on the go-kart track on Brncicheva in Ljubljana and found out that he can be fun on the track. Some credit for this also goes to the 14-inch wheels, which provide a good feel when cornering. But for serious races, you should keep removing the center stand, which is constantly rubbing against the asphalt as the descent gets a little more fun. In addition to the looks, ergonomics, comfort and workmanship, we also compliment the brakes as Honda offers the CBS (connected brakes) system, which is otherwise a privilege of larger bikes.

For a good two thousand, you will get a fashionable scooter, which can also be a great alternative to a car in the warm season. Since he only drinks two liters per 100 kilometers, he can save a lot of money in the family treasury.
