Drive by wire

By itself, this is not an active security system, but a device.

This term refers to the idea of eliminating mechanical connections between the vehicle's controls and the parts that physically execute these commands. Thus, instead of mechanically controlling the brakes or steering, the steering and braking commands are sent to the control unit, which, after processing them, transmits them to the appropriate organs.

The advantage of placing the control unit between the vehicle controls and related controls is that it can ensure that steering, brakes, transmission, engine, and suspension work in concert to improve safety. Vehicle and road stability, especially in bad road conditions, when this system is integrated with various stability control systems (trajectory correction), etc.
