The Honda SE5A variator was produced at the enterprises of the Japanese concern from 2007 to 2014 and was installed on the second generation Fit in combination with a 13-liter L1.3A and 15-liter L1.5A engine. There is a modification of this transmission for the hybrid version of the model under the SE7A index.
The Multimatic series also includes: MENA, SPOA, SLYA and SWRA.

Shortcomings, breakdowns and problems of the SE5A variator
If you regularly change the oil in the box, then it quietly serves up to 250 thousand km
In case of serious problems, a contract automatic transmission will cost less than any repair
Dirty oil and clogged filters wear the belt and then the pulleys.
After 100-150 thousand km, bearings may hum, especially on the input shaft
