What do motorcyclists love? Yes, engines, but what else? Often? What about? Lush, colorful, nice, transparent? Oh yeah, that's how we tried Moto Guzzi Stelvio NTX, Aprilia Shiver GT and Mano GT.

The NTX was the first touring enduro to sport a red eagle badge wearing plastic armor. It was released in 350, 650 and 750 cc versions. ...

This year, the acronym NTX, which doesn't really mean anything, was revived not with a new bike, but only with an update to the well-known Stelvio 1200. They sprayed it down to a less vibrant and more serious color combination. and provided it with a bunch of accessories that might come in handy for the traveler-oriented motorcyclist. As standard, it is equipped with an aluminum crankcase and steel engine guard, protective covers, additional fog lights, a two-stage adjustable seat, side covers and, of course, brackets for them and an anti-lock braking system. The rear rim is 4 "wide (formerly 25") so you can fit it in real off-road tires.

The legendary Gucci V-twin design delivers 3Nm more at 600rpm (113Nm at 5.800rpm) thanks to a redesigned head, larger airbox volume and other electronics tweaks, a welcome improvement. winding mountain roads. For a comfortable ride with a clutch and gearbox, you can be very lazy, but with more sporting ambitions (probably, the “plastic” group did not understand where we were in such a hurry with these “cows”) - you have to be over 5.000 rpm to unload those 105 "horsepower" which, judging by the comparison of technical data with last year's regular Stelvio, reaches 250 rpm less. The price has been increased by a thousand compared to the basic version, which is not much considering the received equipment - only suitcases and holders cost so much!

You can read about the Aprilie Mana 850 GT test in the next issue of "Autoshop" on July 2, but in short: there is a mask (like it?) And ABS, which is installed as standard on the GT version. The transmission remains unchanged, so you can transfer power from the twin-cylinder engine to the rear wheel steplessly (like on a scooter) or through seven “virtual” gears by shifting the classic lever on the left or using the +/- buttons on the left side of the steering wheel. If you don't have enough room in front of your belly (it eats up your helmet!), You can improve your travel-oriented mana with hard suitcases. The price of the GT version is less than ten thousand euros.

The Shiver GT, on the other hand, is more suited to suitcases with a soft design, i.e. fabric rather than plastic. The Aggressive Stripped Shiver with Mask has remained no less beautiful than the basic version, but has become more comfortable and therefore more pleasant for tourist purposes. 750cc twin-cylinder engine See the same, lively and responsive, making the Shiver GT the right choice for energetic, even sporty bikers. You can choose ABS from the list of accessories, it will cost you 600 euros. The basic version costs 8.799 euros.

Dolomites? Where is it?

Our 130 kilometer circle started from Cortina d'Ampezzo, a tourist town 273 kilometers from Ljubljana if we pass Jesenice, Rateche, Tolmezzo and Sappada. It's not hard to find with a map or GPS in hand, but if you flip through the Google map at home and then follow signs on the road, you'll find one too.

From Cortina we headed southwest through the Passo Giau, then below Marmolada, where the road is surrounded by three thousand high mountains, past the town of Alba di Canzei, then north to Passo Sella and back east through another " pass". , called Falsarego. We highly recommend it!
