This would mean that current range of Volkswagen ID. Neo should be between 280 and 460 kilometers [preliminary estimates www.elektrowoz.pl], which suggests that the battery capacity will be between 45 and 75 kWh. The car will be built on the MEB platform, so it must support up to 125kW of charging, higher than the Tesla currently producing.

Interior = Biggest Surprise

Unlike other channels, ThomasGeigerCar talks a lot about the car's interior. This is carefully disguised, so we have to rely solely on the oral report. Well, the youtuber declares that it is him an interior never seen before in a Volkswagen... There are three screens, including one small one behind the wheel (probably similar to the one in the BMW i3) and one larger on the center console. The facilitator secretly transmits information that the interior is "devoid of buttons", which suggests that the car is controlled in a similar way to the Tesla Model 3. - to the touch.

Apparently, a completely new user interface appears on the screens, and the car should also be able to recognize voice commands.

That's not all: somewhere on the hood there is a strip with LEDs that transmit information about the car. You might guess it’s all about driving style, energy consumption, or the efficient use of available power. The LEDs should not be confused with the HUD, which will also be available as an accessory. The information presented on it should be combined with images of the real world. Maybe a combination of navigation and plan view?

Price

Volkswagen ID price. Neo is not yet known. However, the manufacturer promises the equivalent of 110-120 thousand zlotys as a starting point. If that were true, we would buy a car with a range greater than the Nissan Leaf for about 25 percent less, which would be a real revolution in the market. VW ID. Neo will be available from 2020, although pre-sale will start in the first half of 2019.
