Yamaha Introduces Electric Motorcycle Engine
Eager to position itself as an equipment manufacturer, the Japanese Yamaha group has just unveiled a complete line of electric motors. It is designed to equip various types of vehicles, in particular for electric motorcycle manufacturers.
Yamaha is already present in the electric bike field with a full range of battery / motor systems and is expanding into higher categories. Shown in a video in which the group discusses their design and industrialization know-how, this new line of electric motors is expanding from 35 kW to 150 kW.
« The 35 kW unit has been designed for all small mobility applications including motorcycles. The unit with a capacity of 150 kW is designed for electric vehicles " sums up the Japanese group.

At this stage, Yamaha does not provide additional technical details about this new line of electric motors, the industrialization of which will undoubtedly depend on partnerships with partner manufacturers.
